PARIS DESIGN WEEK 25
From 4 to 9 September 2025, Craft Gardens is presented at Paris Design Week within the exhibition “Re.MADE IN PORTUGAL naturally”, following a direct invitation from Nini Andrade Silva and AICEP – the Portuguese Trade & Investment Agency.
This presentation marks Portugal’s third participation in the event and positions Portuguese contemporary craft on an international stage, where design, cultural identity and responsible creation converge. Set in the heart of Le Marais at 16 rue des Minimes, the exhibition situates Craft Gardens within one of Europe’s most influential design contexts.

A SENSORY ODE TO REGENERATION.
The exhibition’s scenography is conceived by internationally acclaimed interior designer Nini Andrade Silva, who transforms the space at 16 rue des Minimes into a narrative environment — where objects, light and spatial rhythm converge into a unified experience.
Rather than a conventional display, the exhibition becomes an immersive journey through contemporary Portuguese creativity: emotional, tactile and culturally resonant.
Organised by AICEP, Re.MADE IN PORTUGAL naturally asserts Portugal’s creative voice on the global stage — celebrating design as a cultural ambassador and craftsmanship as a language of identity.
A POETIC EXPRESSION OF RENEWAL, SELECTED FOR AN INTERNATIONAL CURATORIAL CONTEXT.
Selected for this edition of Re.MADE IN PORTUGAL naturally, Blossom Gardénia – Primavera is a suspended textile sculpture with a one-metre diameter that explores rhythm, repetition and visual balance.
Constructed through a meticulous arrangement of gradient tassels, the piece forms a harmonious pattern that conveys lightness, order and a sense of expansion. Its structure — both airy and expansive — follows a modular logic that evokes the blossoming of a garden in full bloom, revealing a subtle yet rhythmic energy.
Each tassel is carefully handcrafted from ECONYL® regenerated fibre, resulting in a work that unites artisanal precision, ecological consciousness and a contemplative aesthetic. Conceived as a luminous chandelier-sculpture, the piece celebrates renewal, abundance and transformation — an ode to spring and to the regenerative beauty of nature.
