Privacy & Cookies Policy

Craft Gardens respects individual privacy and ensures that any data voluntarily provided is processed confidentially, exclusively for the purposes that justify its collection and only for the period necessary or legally required.

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, opposition, restriction of processing, portability and/or erasure by contacting info.craftgardens@gmail.com.

For further information regarding privacy and data protection, please contact info.craftgardens@gmail.com. To learn more about how we process your personal data, please read our Privacy Policy below.

Collection of Personal Data

Craft Gardens collects personal data from users only when such data is voluntarily provided, for example when the user registers on the website, places an order or fills in a contact form.

Categories of Personal Data Processed

When the customer is a natural person:

Identification Data – Examples

  • Personal and contact information: Name, address, tax number, telephone number, email address

  • Product and service purchase data: History of purchased products or services

  • Customer history: Contract-related information, responses to satisfaction surveys, received offers, campaign history, event participation, complaint history

When the customer is a legal entity:

Craft Gardens collects only the name, email address and telephone number of the company’s contact person(s), solely for the purpose of performing the contract or for pre-contractual procedures.

Storage and Use of Personal Data

Personal data collected by Craft Gardens is stored securely and used exclusively for the purposes for which it was provided, such as sending newsletters, information about promotions and new products, and processing purchases and deliveries.

Legal Basis and Purposes

  • Consent
Processing of personal data of individual customers and potential customers for marketing and commercial purposes, namely marketing campaigns, events, promotions and information about new products.

  • Legal Obligation
When processing is necessary to comply with legal obligations, personal data may be disclosed to official entities, for example for invoicing purposes or handling complaints.

  • Legitimate Interest
Processing necessary for business management, responding to customer contact requests via website, social media, phone or email, order status notifications, satisfaction surveys, complaint handling, and—regarding legal entities—commercial and marketing communications, always with an opt-out option.

When the customer is a legal entity, Craft Gardens may need to process personal data (name, email, phone number) of company representatives or employees strictly for contract execution.
The legal entity must ensure such data is lawfully collected and transmitted and that data subjects are informed of the processing.

Data Retention Period

Craft Gardens retains personal data only for the period strictly necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected.

In certain cases, legal obligations require longer retention periods, namely tax-related data, which must be retained for 10 years under Portuguese law.

Data may also be retained for the duration of the contractual relationship and, where justified, beyond that period to safeguard legal rights or legitimate interests, always respecting proportionality.

Once the maximum retention period has been reached, personal data will be irreversibly anonymised or securely destroyed.

Disclosure of Personal Data

Craft Gardens does not sell, rent or share users’ personal data with third parties, except when required to process orders and deliveries or when legally obligated.

Data Security

Craft Gardens adopts reasonable technical, organisational and physical security measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. However, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

Craft Gardens reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be published on this page, indicating the update date.
